About classes
Classes at Zen Motion are designed to introduce children to different ways that can really help them learn tools that they can use in the real world.
Is this suitable for all children?
I focus on a real blend of yoga, mindfulness and relaxation on a 1:1 basis. As a guide sessions are designed for children 8 & up. If your child is younger please drop me a line to discuss.
Are all sessions 1:1
Yes currently I only work 1:1 with children and tailor each session to help their specific needs. If you are interested in classes let me know and I will inform you when I have some scheduled.
Who are these sessions designed for?
Mindfulness and yoga Is beneficial for all but these sessions are designed particularly with an emphasis on helping children with Anxiety, ADHD / ASD.
They focus on increasing self esteem, increase confidence, increase calm and help to regulate emotions.
They are not to replace any therapy or Drs advice.
How many sessions are needed?
It is recommended to to book a session of 6 classes to allow us time to work through different relaxation techniques, practice specific yoga moves and start to allow the body to calm. Individual classes can be booked afterwards when needed.
What is involved in a class?

Yoga
Meridian Yoga therapy is used to help bring the body back into balance through focused movements and breath.

Mindfulness
Allowing both the body & mind to calm through practicing being in the present moment.

NLP
Anchoring is a very powerful yet simple technique to help restore calm to the body.

Relaxation
Allowing our body to relax through focused visualisations and breathing exercises.
Each class is tailored to each child’s need to:
- Increase calm
- regulate emotions
- increase focus
- release tension
